Detective Billie Brown with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 54-year-old Joseph William Fortune with 3 counts of felonious Domestic Violence Protection Order Violation. Fortune was issued a $60,000 secured bond.
On February 21st, deputies responded to a Marion residence for a male violating a domestic violence protection order. Fortune was located inside of the residence and arrested without incident.
