Hello race fans of Rutherford county and to my readers in surrounding areas,
I’d like to wish you all a happy 4th of July from your hometown Level 5 Racing…
Been absent from writing to you for a few weeks as I’ve been battling the health issues that has plagued me to the point of no return ,but hopefully soon my days will be brighter and I’ll be back to my weekly duties of bringing the greatest race fans in the south what they love.
Start off by giving thanks to god above for allowing me to still be able to smile thru the toughest challenge of my adult life. This 2022 season has seen many ups and downs for everyone including on the track and off the track ..But as the year rolls on and the dirt continues to fly ,we should all take a second to step backwards and look at what is what and how to keep our life I’n the right direction… considering the crazy works we live in today…
The Fourth of July is the holiday of freedom that we celebrate from way back, and I can say this readers, Freedom is without a doubt is the most sought after thing we as humans love to chase in life and without it your life would be torment and struggle.
I ask myself years ago what was my definition of freedom and how much if any did I value you it…..
Back them my answer was a quick nod of the head and on to whatever for the day not knowing how much pain and sorrow I would bring upon myself as well as my family many years later…so I challenge my readers to get outside the box and look back inside and ask your self just how much you value your freedom and what it means to you.
We all make mistakes going thru life that we can’t change and we all would love to go back to make the right decision. But it’s part of life and we must grow as a person in order to satisfy our innerself as well as others…just because you make a wrong choice in life doesn’t mean your life is over, so keep going forward and thank God every day for allowing u the blessing to see another beautiful Fourth of July…
some people are fighting battles so tough and overwhelming it literally consumes all day of their thoughts and we can only hope for peace of mind. ..Harris speedway has been my getaway from the cruel would we live in today for over 3 years and this past Saturday I realized it’s time to hang my helmet up for good and allow my self time to heal from the battlescars of life and let my younger generation take the wheel …
so I’m somewhat off my topic for this week’s column- I just wanted to take the time to announce I’m done behind the wheel of the #5..my health is not at the point I need it to be and I’m already fighting for my life in several areas and do not need to be bound by things that could be easily avoiding .
Level 5 racing will now focus on his health first of all and also spend time with my loves ones. We as a community have went thru back and forth challenges from the top all way to the bottom and yet we still stand tall to celebrate this Fourth of July as a community..and that shows promise considering this past year …
Readers I’m going to close this out wishing you all a happy freedom day to you and your families and also to ask for your continued prayers for me and also unspoken prayers that eyes and hearts will be opened in a few areas I’m dealing with and that a miracle can be blessed upon the situation…
I’ll cover this week’s action from Harris speedway later on this week as the results come in…thank you for your attention of this week’s making Laps with Bruce Wayne and as always kids say no to drugs and stay in school … See you next week level 5 fans
