MARION, NC – Detective Matthew Smith with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team charged 55-year-old Darryl Maurice Deboise of Marion with felonious Possession of Cocaine and Possession of up to 1/2 Ounce of Marijuana. Deboise is being held without bond.
On December 20th, Detective Smith was patrolling the area of US 221 South and initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. A search of the vehicle, driven by Deboise, turned up cocaine and marijuana.
