MARION – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the NC Highway Patrol in a search for a suspect and a vehicle involved in a recent hit and run.
The individual pictured is the suspect involved in the incident which occurred, after a Christmas Chorus Concert, in the parking lot of McDowell High School around 8pm on December 11th, 2023.
The attached pictures were captured by the school’s security cameras.
Anyone able to identify the suspect or provide any possible information about the hit and run, is asked to contact Trooper DePoyster with the NC Highway Patrol at *47 or (828)652-2181. Your identity can remain anonymous.
