On 2/29/24, Detectives with the Tri-City Violent Crime Task Force, were conducting surveillance at the Baymont Inn in Forest City after receiving complaints about drug activity at the hotel. During the investigation Detectives conducted multiple traffic stops and interviews which lead detectives to conduct a search warrant at Room 214 at the Baymont Inn. Due to the Traffic Stops and Search Warrant, the suspect, Chad Everette Hunt was charged with the following:
Sell/Deliver Fentanyl
Sell/Deliver Marijuana
PWISMD SCH IV
Maintain Dwelling for Drug Sales
This investigation uncovered Fentanyl, Marijuana, Xanax pills and a Large Amount of U.S Currency.
