Community: Shooting Investigation

On Thursday April 21, 2022, Darrell Alexander Jackson was arrested by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office for Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. He is currently being held in the Rutherford County Detention Center under a $250,000.00 secured bond.

Further investigation in to this case resulted in the arrest and/or charges against the additional suspects listed below:

 

Rozalyn Carolee Toney was arrested and charged with Aid and Abet Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. She is currently being held in the Rutherford County Detention Center under a $200,000.00 secured bond.

Dominick Deshean Valentine was arrested and charged with Aid and Abet Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. He is currently being held in the Rutherford County Detention Center under a $200,000.00 secured bond.

A Warrant for Arrest for Aid and Abet Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury has also been issued for Jacob Kaine Robbins.

On Wednesday April 20, 2022 around 9:00 pm, deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of shots being fired at 589 Ellenboro Henrietta Road in Ellenboro. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Danny Huber lying in the yard suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies immediately secured the scene for medical personnel to proceed in.

Rutherford County EMS and Ellenboro Fire Department responded to the scene where they treated Mr. Huber for his injuries. Mr. Huber was eventually transported to Cleveland Regional Medical Center where he received further treatment.

Detectives, Forensic Investigators, and the Criminal Apprehension Team, with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Offices’ Criminal Investigation Division, responded to the scene and immediately began investigating the incident. As a result of the investigation, a warrant for arrest has been issued for Darrell Alexander Jackson for Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
